:P

However the idea itself is very intresting, perhaps there should be a different attack type: psy, with a bunch of new mental spells dealing psychic energy or just psy damage. Imagine squeezing the monsters brain with the power of your thoughts! Or maybe this should be a separate class, say you get bonus to your psy spells with high int and low wis.
they, why dont add more stats?
endurance - being a measure for psychic fittnes- for example might be nice to add.
if endurance < 0 you slow down
below x you confuse
below y you paralyse

where x and y are lvl dependend factors

your endurance regenerates just like hp and max endurance depends on lvl and race. Some races (elves, haflings, fireborns) are supposed to have a high endurance, while other races (dwarves, gnomes, dragons) are supposed to have a low endurance. Humans are - as always - in the middle

Being hit by some monster should reduce endurance a little (depending on damage?) and hitting a monster should give you endurance (somehow like lifestealing)

if you miss a monster, you also lose some endurance.

restoration, golden unicorn horn and healing potions should restore endurance.

[off topic]

this is going off topic... can some mod move this to a new thread if anyone is willing to discuss?

But being hurt should cause an increase in adrenaline, which should allow acting well over a short period of time followed by burnout. Maybe a one -off big boost to endurence, followed by a continual decrease until there are no more endurence-counting events (ie the player is safe)?

Adding to the discussion from a different thread:

Like Beneath SP, have stamina: 10/10
Run for 2 seconds, it goes down by one. When it hits zero, you have a slowdown penalty until it (rapidly) regens.
