Most of the time, killing myself is really stupid.

So here are some example:

Looking everywhere around me why i was losing life, then being killed by the grate below me;

Dying of starvation with about 50 food at my feets while i was having real-life diner (thought it would grab food from the ground);

Casting lightning, killing the kobold and then seing the lightning come back (classical one);

Being at contact with a kobold and mistaking icestorm for snowstorm (mistaking a cone for an explosive spell is always dangerous).

Well, here are some morceaux choisis...

Killed by a Castle Guard I put in my bag (yes, it was once possible);

Killed by a trap that one of my pet monster triggered when knocking a door without my permission;

Killed by my own Holy Word while being an undead (something Spirit was an all-time champion at);

Killed by a bomb I created myself and inadvertantly grabbed (remember: never use "pickup all items" with "create bomb").

A few things like:
* disarming many traps at the same time, pressing 'd' like 10 times straight, forgetting that you can lose life & summon elementals to kill you while you stand defenseless using many rounds to disarm traps... happened to me a few days ago, was killed by water elementals even though i'm >60....
* firing many ball lightnings, watch the comp crawl to display all the 'your lightning zaps <monster>', and see the monster come & kill me, too late to do anything 'cause it happened already

Or how about being a Fireborn and having your strength spell run out on you while yer trying to get away from a buch of Electric Dragons who are pissed off becuse you just aced their buddies with destruction and you are suddenly moving too slow to outrun them...

hmmm... ok how about running around and attacking ghosts and goblins and then having to run and grab the phone and come back having forgotten that FBs are vuln: ghosthit ... I was like wha happen??

------i was like lvl 52 at the time

then suddenlt I was lvl 45ish-------

As a mage I usually killed myself to my own Burning Hands spell. I always think that I'm fireborn, so it's death
