If you want to keep your stuff uber secure put in in your apartment. I go to trade something with a friend. He gets my goods fine, then drops the stuff for me, and some guy like mikeeusa tears through with pickupall on.

He either A) drops it because he can't open it (my system), or B) picks the ...

You also could change a few names in the arches, for example make them all heavy katanas that are wieldable with one hand. Only weapons that are light enough, keep in mind, can be used with the left hand. You're not gonna put a broadsword into both hands, it's just too useless and inconvenient. I ...

I was thinking they could be picked up, so that you could lock something for.... Oh, say, a gift, so it won't be stolen by someone else. There ARE ocasionally jerks on MF even, and if one piece os worthless without the other, thieves will be discouraged.

The keys also have the same flag as non ...

Locks

Okay, I was thinking just being able to "lock" containers and such so you can leave them without someone else taking them. NOT the same as inventory locking.

Procedure:

Mark container
Apply lock

That simple. Lock then becomes a key with same slaying value as lock, container acquires said slaying ...

This reminds me, an interesting feature to add would be support for seperate keybindings for non-printing keys that are pressed while typing in the text box. (i.e. so one could bind prevkey and nextkey to the up and down arrow keys, but only while the textbox has focus) Dude, I already said that ...

I already have up and down arrows bound to scrolling through the client's command history, have had for a while.

There is some magic words you need to add to your ~/.crossfire/keys file, I believe it is these lines that you want.

! nextkey Down 0
! prevkey Up 0

With this setup up and down arrow ...

Perhaps, but there should at least make a minimum cost, something in the 10-20ish area.

Also, I think making a golem with two chaos swords or something like that should either be not twice as powerful as a golem of one chaos sword, or it's cost should be more than double that of one chaos sword ...

perhaps:
(w/1000)^2 + (p^2) or a fixed cost of 20, whichever is higher

("^2" means squared, for those who don't know) I'd say the MP cost as I depicted is already pretty high, and a smaller flat rate is a good thing so they can summon a smal;l army of real weak ones if they want. Squaring it may ...
