I also prefer Fireborn. Their fire immunity is a major lifesaver. They do have a notable drawback, in that at the mid-high levels, their cold vulnerability is a very serious flaw.

Actually, a script like that is a necessity for efficient high-lvl alchemy. I'm only a low-level alchemist, but I can tell you that if you had to manually collect common ingredients like that, it would (and does) take a long time. At higher lvls, the cash from that is next to nothing.

One thing you could try is potions of cold resistance and potions of healing (I keep mine bound to a key).

I was under the impression that there was a dragon hangar someplace, but perhaps Brest does not have one.

I think I can help a little with these:

The only place you can use building supplies (as far as I know), is your permanent apartment, and even then I think only some apartments.

I believe the Scorn, Brest, Navar, Lone Town, and (possibly) Wolfsberg apartments all have buildable areas.
