heh... and maby the people who frame Bort too... :D

Speaking of such things. There are major exploits in the arena with TP and word or recall... and though being invis is well balanced, it's too powerful againt players in the areana; I think a good way to fix that would be to drasticly decrease the delay after a 'show invisible' spell. and perhaps to also make it so after player's have lost their invis, then there should be a delay before they can use it again...

Delay can be avoided by using scrolls, rods, staves and wands. For scrolls use either found scrolls or scrolls one writes oneself.

Yeah, but in any case, the delay is too long...

IF you have a high sp regen rate, the delay helps regen for another spell

However casting show invis on an annoying invisible opponant in the arena can easily cause your death due to spell delay. Yes... I know from experiance, from both sides of the show invis :P

That depends on your strategy. Yes, a noob can be killed while casting
show invis.. but if you do it right, you can run and cast that spell..

Well... my lvl 40 alt char can be helplessly killed in that delay.... when the opponant is using a chaos sword... but seriously, though the opponant that this happened with was at least lvl 80, but I still managed to beat him without too much trouble (mainly due to SpeedyRed's awsome speed) when he agreed to not use invis. Which shows that even with good stratagies, one can be killed by show invis spell delay when against other players that one could otherwise beat with little trouble.

Well, the delay for the show invis is caused where your spell goes manually over the area to reveal things. Now this ain't really true in the code, but you want to keep the effect as if your spell was manually revealing things to you.

There should be a helmet of see invis or so, though. 8)
