See

I'm getting the same issue. The
only thing you will get any money for in shops is gems. (Win32 1.6 Server, GTK 1.7 Client).
I've trawled through the code, and can't see any problem, but I don't have a C compiler, so have only tested the released version, and can't do comprehensive testing.

Damn, there goes my excuse. Thanks, I'll download that tonight and see what I can find. I havn't programmed in C for about eight years though... I'm a Java man these days.

you would use shareware (dos shareware no less) to compile an opensource application?
Try devC++
http://www.bloodshed.net/dev/devcpp.html or something.
sheesh.
Also I can't say I've seen this building the server on Linux. Before you get too involved make sure you try the current CVS code - in many cases the bug you search for may already be fixed.

I just checked with latest CVS, price is all right.
Haven't checked with 1.6.0, though.

Borland has a free c++ compiler (it's actually pretty quick)..
Go to Borland.com and search for free c++ compiler..
