Another Bug on Another Ring (and other weirdnesses)

Okay, similar to what happened with the ring of ruling, but this is for Ring of Occidental Mages..

I had 2 from doing some killing.. I was going to get rid of them. I dropped the rings I wanted to keep on the floor, and the ones I was going to get rid of, I put in a container..

When I took the rings back out of the container, 1 ring of OM turned into a ring (no name, identified, no stats), the other one remained ring of OM, but had a power of +50.

Actully once I had both rings in my regular inventory, with one being Ring of OM and the other one just ring (ring was already identified, no stats, no name), and I cast identify again, both rings turned into ring of OM with power +50..

On an unrelated note.. The other day I also had a whole set of my equipment dissapear from my inventory. I had Staff of Magi, Cloak of Gaea, 2 High Magic rings, Midnight Robe, Wizard hat, and magic bracers.. I logged out with them not being locked, and in my inventory.. When I logged back in, they were gone..

Lately there have been some weird things going on.. Also, I have died by a balrog, which wasn't on map, and there were no spells being cast my way.. This was in training.. All the sudden I went from 200 to 0 hp and message said I was killed by a balrog..

The ring problem was fixed, I can't recall when (2, 3, 5? weeks ago)


Where you in a demon area?

Was it possible for a Balrog to reach you, where you were standing?

IIRC, a Balrog can read scrolls. Perhaps the Balrog read a scroll of invisible and was able to sneak up on you?

I was sitting near the staircase to go down to the Demon TC... I didn't make it down because I got side-tracked.. when I came back I was dead and it said I died by a balrog.. Balrog is multisquare so it couldn't have been anyones pet, at least not that I have seen.
