Where on CVS can we see DETAILS of what's changed (monsters)

Where on CVS is the list of updates to maps and monsters?

Reason I ask is because yesterday I went to fight the Fire God again, and with -120 wc, all sorts of attacks, cold, electric, depletion, life stealing, weaponmagic, etc, I didn't even hit him once!

I know we (the players) have been saying some creatures are too easy, but some are now too tough! I know couple people died yesterday trying to kill the fire god (as example), one run away (you know who you are!).. I think monsters should not be impossible, tough, but doable.. I mean, I used up 4 2500 crystals worth of cold-attack spells.. tried the same thing again with electric.. the guy (when I probed him) was in full health!

Back to the question.. Where can we find detailed info of what has changed? I know that's a bit of a spoiler, but once you learn a map which doesn't change, it's naughty of the devs to supprise player with near-instant death when he doesn't expect it.. Just ranting.

You can view the code changes here:

http://cvs.sourceforge.net/viewcvs.py/crossfire/

The Firetemple maps have not been updated in 2 years. In a few cases, 4 years.
http://cvs.sourceforge.net/viewcvs.py/c ... ireTemple/

Also..

Maps do change. Spells change. Items change.

Assuming you are reference crossfire.metalforge.net, it's running a version from CVS which means changes like this (what ever changed; the demon arch file, the spell code, resistance code, etc.) will continue.

Also, check the mailing list archives. Originally, the fire god was unkillable (and intended to be that way..)

Thanks for reply Leaf!

By the way, different topic, but do you know if, who, what and when is working on making maps that balance difficulty based on players level entering?

This fellow is supposed to be extremely difficult to kill. I killed it easily with cold spells using fireborn though. But with the new system I doubt killing him is possible.. :?

-IF- someone is working on a dynamic dungeon, no announcements have been made saying it's underway, in-progress, etc.
