Windows client 2 button mouse

Post by MineEyes »

Is there an easy way to apply items without having to type 'apply complicated_item_name' if I only have a 2 button mouse?
Thanks

Good question. Try combos with shift, alt, control (i must say i never use the mouse, so don't know).

Note also that you can do 'apply <partial item name>', as long as the partial name is enough to identify the item (if multiple item match, the one actually applied is kind of random)

On linux anyway, you can emulate a third button, by clicking both buttons at once in most standard configurations. For windows, I am not sure, but I would imagine it has a similar capability somewhere.
Maybe try your mouse settings, and see if you can find an option to do that.

I doubt it has anything like that buitlin. As far as I can tell, Windows itself does not make much use of third button. There is probably third party software for that but I think it would be better if doubleclicking would be considered apply...
