Bizzare image issues

the game runs fine but the images are sooooooooooooooo screwed up! ok exp1:PC image turned into goldcoins, yes goldcoins..
2nd one was various things looking 'screwed up' i mean class Images were the circles you stepped onto, more then half were like that. anyone have this before? or could just point me to a stable client?


if you ask Im running on WindowsXP pro, latest directX if that might be an issue too.

DirectX client is abandonware, so there are no updates available for it. More details at:

As far as what you observed while playing, most likely a client issue since alot has changed with the server and the client does not support it.

I wonder if you meant DirectX (not the client). That sounds like a gtk client problem to me. If so, did you try toggling the image caching?

i think it was a server porblem, when i logged on a couple days ago, i say a lot of jumbled images, for example, keys looked like lava, and scrolls looked like a sort of elevation.

the only image issue i know of with DX is that on some pics, it only shows the upper right hand corner of pics, but only some
