Crossfire Music Style

Post by SilverNexus »

Now that we have sound working in the game again, maybe we could utilize the map music feature in order to have some in-game music.

I don't know if anyone had any ideas in mind for style; I could create some 8-bit music (once I double-check and make sure derivative works from FamiTracker are GPL-compatible). I could try to fiddle with LMMS to create some other music, too. I figure a blend of the two might not give a sense of continuity to the world, though.

Any input on which path to proceed along would be great.
That SilverNexus guy? You needn't worry about him.
He is level negative 4 in oratory, and his singing is worse.

As long as there is an easy way to turn off the music, I don't care. Just don't make me have to listen to it. In-game music usually annoys me.

I always either turn off game music or turn it down to where I can't hear it in the games I play. If that is not an option, I don't play that game. :D

What about some of the music files used in Battle for Wesnoth ?

Sound Effects?

Post by Titus »

I've got a whole mess of sound effects. As far as music goes I could get down with some of the royalty free stuff available on opengameart:
