Duke quest and tower of the stars

So, I've been doing the Scorn Royalty Quest, and have gotten up to count in rank. I went to do the Duke quest. You know, the one where you have to steal the weapon from the dragon lords. And, well...

I found the dragon lord's emissary, and asked him where the dragon lords live, to which he replied "On the western edge of the mountains to the southwest of Navar."

Problem is: There's nothing there. A friend and I scoured the entire southwest mountain range (utilizing a sweeping methodology, to avoid missing anything). All that's there is a training center on the actual western edge, and a bridge and cave with trolls somewhere in the mid-western area.

So I went back to the emissary, bought the 7 emeralds to bribe him, and received this gem: "The dragon lords fear to keep the weapon too far from themselves. To find it, look in the high mountains near their eyrie" (paraphrased). No *censored*, sherlock. Of course I need to look near where they live. Tell me where THAT is!

Any help with this would be appreciated. I don't want any donations or bodyguards or anything, I just want to know where the blasted dungeon is. After spending two days on repeated searches, I'm starting to get annoyed. :s

So. The tower of the Stars. I only know about it because I had to find it as a marker in the directions to the dungeon for, I believe, the Count quest. Apparently, a password is required to reach the third floor. I have looked all around the second floor, and even got 11 floors into the insect and snake and giant worm-filled area beneath the dungeon before dying, with no results. Anyone know how to get it? I don't want you to tell me the password itself, I'd just like to know how to find it, thus requiring me to do the work myself.

Hello.

What server are you playing on?

For the dragon's place, the tip is totally imprecise (but that was fixed on some servers, which is why I asked where you're playing :)). The entrance is located south of the inn on the Scorn-Navar road. There's a big mountain range, with two entrances close by (one is west of the other, you want the one on the east side). Levitation, if you know it, can help for going faster in those ranges.

Concerning the tower of the Stars, unless I'm mistaking, the password can be found in the tower itself. You need to talk to some people, maybe one will dislike his master enough to give the password.

Ah! Thank you! That's rather far from the mountain range I was told it was on... Sort of. As for the server, I'm playing metalforge. The server list says it's a release candidate, so I figured it would have the least bugs and stuff (I assume the other servers are either privately (relatively) run or for testing purposes?).

I really appreciate this!

Hmm. I tried talking to people, although just guards and the servants above the dungeon. I didn't try talking to any of the prisoners. I'll try that. Thanks for the tip!

Actually, Metalforge is running the "old" code. Newest code is on invidious. Be warned though that it may crash now and then.

That's basically what I said? New code and crashes, hence testing. The other servers are testing new features and/or code, while the "release candidate" (that's what it says, and thus all I have to go on) uses what's known to work. While the Metalforge server may not have been updated with everything that is known to work well/properly, by the comments given so far, including your own, it is still using the older, more reliable (to an extent) coding and/or ideas, while the others, such as Invidious, are using the newer, more unstable code (thus increasing the likelihood of a crash, but also allowing updates for smoother gameplay and/or more story).

That is precisely what I said in my previous post, merely in less specific terms.
