There have been reports from people running Vista (uncertain which version) and GTK (uncertain which exact version of GTK) client.
One report is that the communication "window" does not display text or the text is unreadable?
Has anyone else encountered this?
If so, which version of Windows Vista?
64bit or 32bit?
What version of GTK? (ex: 2.0.11)
Any other information to add or provide?
Can you provide a screen shot?

Windows Vista and GTK Client issues?
"Put another, more succinct way: don't complain, contribute. It's more satisfying in the long run, and it's more constructive."

Yes, I have seen those problems with Vista.
The newer GTK from gaim\pidgin does not seem to work with older programs. Use the link on the front page to GTK 2.10.11, it works.
There is also a problem with some Vista desktop themes or Window Color and Appearance settings, if you have problems use the windows classic theme and setting. The Aero appearance setting was a problem for me.
After you install Crossfire's GTKClient go to the directory where you installed it (usually c:/Program Files/Crossfire GTK Client ). Right click on GTKClient.exe, select properties, compatability and set it for Windows XP .
And go play the game.
