Removing cursed items

A couple of options..
Find a scroll of Remove Curse and read it.
Make sure you read the scroll while on a map that allows prayers, such as your apartment, guild, most maps that have monsters. The streets of any of cities does not allow this. The scroll sometimes appears in shops or as dungeon loot - it's random.
Another option depends on your praying level and which god/cult your character follows. Around level 10, while praying on an altar, your god will cast remove curse on you which allow you to remove the cursed gauntlets (or any cursed item that is worn.)
Overall, it's best to avoid wearing or using cursed items by using the sense curse spells, skills or shop tables to see if anything is cursed first.
