Wyvern droppings
Wyverns used to have chance at dropping dragon scales. Is that not so anymore? Been at least 8 years since i played CF, so my knowledge about the game might be outdated in many areas.

I just checked the Dragon Lord cave on Metalforge server (v1.9.0-1), and the wyverns dropped wings, steaks and dragon scales. Well, not that much - maybe 1 in 5 wyverns left something behind.Helgrim wrote:Wyverns used to have chance at dropping dragon scales. Is that not so anymore?
What server did you observe this on?

This was on the server running on my machine (windows). I downloaded it last week or so. Says it is v1.9.0.
I started killing wyverns since i wanted dragonscales for dragon shield and dragon mail. But after killing 40-50 of them without seeing a single scale dropping, I started to wonder if I was wasting my time. But probably it has just been bad luck so far.

I wonder if it's the map in question. Although, I'm not aware of any maps that have wyverns that do /not/ drop scales for some reason.

I Hunted wyverns inside a barn right east of Santa Dominion. Not the farmhouse with all the boozes and foods in the entry room, but the barn south of there. There are som orcs, wraiths and ghosts to clear before you get to the wyverns. Everything in there looks very standard to me, so i would be surprised if these wyverns are special in any way. It is also a very old map. I remember it from when i first played CF in 92-93'ish. And it looks pretty much unchanged from that time, really
