Where's crossedit???

Post by falafel »

OK, the CF server is supposed to include Crossedit, right? Well, where is it?

I looked around and found the "editor" folder in the MAPS section, but it only has the Crossedit files (eg. pickmaps, system, etc), not the crossedit application. Help please!

Crossedit is part of the "crossfire" module in CVS. Thus if you got sources from there, you should have a "CrossEdit" (or Crossedit?) subdirectory.

Note that Crossedit only works under Linux/X, it won't work under Windows. Not sure for Mac

note also, that if you want to edit maps, then you are probably better served by using CFJavaEditor instead of crossedit, unless you know why you aren't.

There is more information about it at http://crossfire.real-time.com/editors/ ... index.html
