How to party

This is probaly asked many times, but how do you party with another person?

First, one person must form the party or group.

'party form <name>

Then all people who wish to join the party must do so, including the person who just formed the party in step 1.

'party join <name>

Now you can communicate with each other with the gsay command

'gsay <message>

Now, if each member of the party is on the same map - you share experience with each other.

Many players form a party and then one person kill monsters with a particular skill (ex: summoning). This will give each party member experience in the summoning skill. If they don't have the skill, it gets added to their general experience total.

Another benefit of a party is destructive spells do less damage to party members. So accidental PKing is greatly reduced.

Help about 'party'
party join partyname
Puts you in a party, prompts you for a passwd if there is one

party form partyname
Forms a party and puts you as leader, 32 character max. At the moment, being party leader does nothing. May be used in the future.

party list
Lists currently formed parties and their 'leader'

party passwd <password>
Changes the passwd for the party you are in, 8 character max.

party who
lists the members of the party you are in

party say <msg>
sends messsage to party members

party leave
takes you out of current party
