would it make sense for some race specific spells to become skills? the fireborn has flaming touch, but shouldnt the dragons get the breath spells as skills? im thinking that could end up very unfair, since alot of humans/non-dragons use that spell, and it would be quite powerfull as a skill. i also just found a skill scroll for hiding (invisiblilty) which gave me that idea. it would also make sense for dragons to start out with/gain magical breaths as an ability, since dragons normally breathe fire and stuff.
probably make since for dragons to get a breath spell as a skill everytime they change metabloisms, so they would start out with a less powerfull burning hands, and then get a less powerfull freezing hands when they switch to cold, lightning when they go electric, and poison cloud when they go poison. the biggest problem i see is that there is a 0 cool-down on skills, and it wont take any mana to cast...
some race specific spells as skills?

i think those abilities are given to dragons as spells to simulate the cool down. Becuase they require mana the dragon can only cast them so fast - there is a decent argument that maybe they should take less mana then the skill but even if we look at traditional fantasy dragons they couldn't breath fire every single attack so as a skill it would be pretty wild.
