You need the spell alchemy, as opposed to the skill. (come to think of it, the names are somewhat confusing)
The skill alchemy allows you to create items from other items (creating stuff like mercury and lead, or magic potions and dusts)
The spell alchemy turns surrounding objects into gold nuggets. It is a low level summoning spell.
a character who is of the class alchemist is proficiant in the skill alchemy. Detailed instructions on that can be found here

To get the spell you will need to get the summoning skill (from a scroll or amulet) and read a spellbook of alchemy.

Not that I am aware of. Port 80 is standardised to be for HTTP (web traffic) other types of servers generally don't run on that port.
cf.schmorp.de is running on port 70, but I doubt that will be much use to you.

yes, for rings and amulets you use the jeweler skill, in the same way as you would alchemy, but with a jeweler's workbench
You need the ingredients and the recipes, which you will have to find.
I'll tell you one to start you off (since this is the spoilers forum after all)
a ring of occidental mages needs
a potion of rainbow wave
a ring,
and 3 sapphires
The others can be found through experimentation or exploration. (or by getting your server to dump the recipes, but I would never suggest that you do such a thing...
)
for talismans you need the skill thaumaturgy, and a thaumaturgists desk.
