FYI: Although it will not be procecutable, I would not mind if it was prosecutable - just like denying Holocaust is.

and besides, it is not that I think you should never be allowed to express your opinions (In fact, I would allow you to do so in some cold, dark and creepy cellars, or perhaps in the sewer systems of a big city...) but I think a game should NOT make political statements, at least as long as it is not intented for a public that agrees with these statements.

A remark on 'freedom': your freedom, even freedom of speech, is limited by the freedom of others. I think expressing your opinion on this violates the freedom of others, so you cross the border.

Fascinating.
I like that argument..

But this whole thing about "I want to express and force my views on others (ala mlab)" is one of the reasons why OpenSource is looked down upon so much.
Its coders and (mapmakers) who use the argument that if they contribute, they dont have to act civil. This same attitude tore down hundreds of good software project because one fascist decided to use it as an outlet for their hate.

"I mean that liberty of each which is not limited or restrained or curtailed by the liberty of another, but is strengthened and enlarged through it: the unlimited liberty of each through the liberty of all" (Bakounine)
it's strange how people want more restrictions because others want more discriminations

right.
And you can try to explain them they're wrong, it's like pissing in a cad : only self pleasure. They can't 'turn' ideas with thinking, 'cause they don't want to have problems in their KKK (or NRA, or whatever) squad.
Just forget cat2 & let 'em die in their diarhea (to use a cf compliant word)

Interesting. Could you also provide where Bakounine writes this?

Bakounines notion of freedom does obviously not apply at 'western democracies'. My freedom is limited by law. For example, I do not have the freedom to murder, to discriminate, to ...
This is prohibited by law, and these laws exist to protect my (and others) freedom. Hence, my freedom is limited by the freedom of others.

Denying the Holocaust is not illegal in the USA. We have freedom of speech :). Come invade us if you don't like it, we'll cut you down to size. You know, please do. I'd like to be on the front line mowing down your army.

I will put whatever I want in my maps and I will modify my server in anyway I wish. There is nothing you can do about it and you cannot take me off the list serv. You can go fkkk yourself.

Freedom of speech is not the freedom to shout "Fire" in a crowded theater.

Because shouting fire in a crowed theater is exactly the same as saying (whilst you were in a crowded thearter) you wish water to have no rights.

Water rights have nothing to do with this,
and I've seen many, many people have water inside a theatre, so your argument is invalid.
Remember, you live by legalism, mlab-[ like Shang Yang], you die by it to.

Guess it went right over your head bort.

Oh, you'll like this.
I donated some textures to the bzflag project which they put up on their texture serv.
I made a nice map aswell (took 4 days non-stop)... better then just about all of the posted maps (their editor isn't the greatest, gotta go text editing if you want something good). I informed all that I was anti women's rights.

They banned my server. They deleted my map from their tracker. They banned me from accessing their site at all. They then deleted my textures (bzflag client is cripled by them so it can only use textures on their own *.bzflag.org servers) so my map would not work anylonger even if someone else ran it.

They are now trying to get me banned from sourceforge.
