Major Djinn

Post by Staves »

Does anyone have any tips on dealing with Major Djinns? Seem to be immune to all fire, ice, lightning, mana, poison and physical attacks. Race is said to be giant but even banishment of Mostrai has no effect. I'm at a bit of a loss and can't progress further without killing them. All advice gratefully received.

late in the night, but death seems to be a good attack type. might want to go devours, and then enchant a weapon or too with draining, death, and stuff. acid maybe?

theres also a list of monsters on the site somewhere, which will give more specific resist info.

I can't remember for sure, but I seem to remember that weaponmagic is effective.

Any high level, e.g. ~45 of:
-one handed chaos sword
-chaos dragon claws
-two handed smasher of mostrai
-cause [disease]

And another alternative that should work at lower levels is:
-Curse (of any god that has negetive fire resist), then meteor swarm.
That is... if you can survive the meteor swarm yourself at lower levels than your suggestions....

i always killed them without facing them.

SPOILER ALERT:

Major Djinns are lvl 100 creatures of the race faery. They are best killed with weaponmagic attack. Dragons without mind (all dragons) have trouble killing them for they are immune to fire, cold, poison, electricity and physical.

Which is why I find the curse spell very helpful for any such creature becaust it will allow my claws to do some damage at least. For example it helps against... mumble mumble mumble

That is easy to remedy.
All the dragon has to do is weild a ring of the Necromancer (grants death attack).
