i need help on praying

Hi I play a Paladin but i can't seen to get my praying to level 2? i am useing all the 1st level spells but my exp is not going up?

You need to kill monsters with prayers, which will then give you praying experience (and eventually gain levels..)

Which god are you worshipping?

Spells available for you to use are holy word and cause light wounds. Who or what you use these spells on, depends on which god your character is following (if any..)

Okay, your holy word spells are most effective against demons. However, at your current level - surviving the demon attacks will be tough.

So, you'll have to use cause light wounds for a while - which is effective against numerous monsters.

Your grace will naturally regent to 50% capacity. After that you'll need to pray.

Bind praying to a key like this:

'bind use_skill praying
<hit enter>
Hit the "p" key

Now, whenever you hit the "p" key you will pray, just like the "s" key is for search.

Helpful hints...

Be careful that you are not standing on the altar of a different god when praying, you'll probably end up converted to that new god.

You may need to wear equipment that give you a bonus to Wisdom, which will give you more grace so you can cast more prayers.

It's going to take work to level praying. Alot of casting the prayer, quickly praying to regen the grace, and casting again.

worshipping Valriel, you can't use wounding. So, you have to try (many) holy word against (low level) undeads.

you can also ask (nicely) another player with higher prayer to party with you and go on an undead training trip
Mind you, not all training trips go well
