i can't cast casuse_light_wounds

for some reson i can't cast the spell casuse_light_wounds every time i try to cast it it says that spell path is denied to you how come?

Are you still worshipping Gaea?

Are you wearing any items that grant "denied: wounding" or "repelled: wounding" ?

I just found out.. Valriel denies all wounding spells. So, you'll have to use turn undead or if you are able to find imps (a type of demon..) you can use your holy word against them.

Stand on the altar of the "new" god and pray - the altar may push you off a couple of times.

If necessary, stand on the new altar and type: 'brace

Pray multiple times or until you see the message that you have been converted.

Type: 'brace
(this causes you leave braced mode, which will let you move again)

turn undead never gave me xp.
holy word on demons at 1st praying level is too weak, try basic undeads instead.

But turning gods can wound your character's grace. Be warned. Valriel and Gaea are great! The banish undead. That means less pain in killing undead liches, grimreepers, and demiliches.

However turning affects your god's enemy more than it affects undead (something like 3x to 4x), so when your god's enemy is undead like for gaea, undead die even faster than otherwise.

Damage to undead compared to the norm god
Gaea = 3x or 4x
Devourers = 0x (devourers turning never does anything, though devoureres denies turning, you can still cast with a rod, but it never affects anything)
Any other god = 1x (including ones that deny turning if you use a rod of holy word or banish)
