I'm going to clean it up some more, try to remove another patch of mine which is mixed with this patch and then send it to the dev list.
The current patch (which works, but isn't all finished yet) is at:

What I really would like was that there would come up a message box, asking me if I want to bind the macro to that object or to all objects with the same name.
If the key was already bound, it should ask if the old binding was to be removed, if a new key should be chosen or if this binding should prefix or suffix the old binding. The later functionality should apply for all key bindings, not just "quick bindings".
