Compilation Error - help Please

I downloaded and installed from the CVS's on the sourceforge site. I did a "configure" which ran ok. When I start a "make" I get the following error "loader,.l.1117: initializer element is not constant". "Make[1] *** [ loader.o] Error 1"

that is a real recent error - I think it was fixed in CVS.
