:?: How to solve knight quest :?:

Hi,
I'm a newbie trying to solve first quest in stronghold in scorn. I couldn't find the head of goblins required to complete the quest. I found a cave just north east of scorn but i was only able to find 2 levels in the cave and no special leader.

Thanks in advance.

The cave you want is twenty squares due north of the sign located outside the east gate of scorn (the one giving distances to navar, darcap and brest. You will fight mostly orcs and kobolds at the lower levels. Go down until you get a special level (you will see lots out info in the output window. This level is swarming with goblins. The goblin leader is at the extreme south centre of the map, trapped by generators. Clear the way as you see fit, then destroy the generators and him.

Take the head to the castle and get your reward.

Thanks a lot, I wasn't avare that random dungeons had special levels. Now I'm trying to find mushrooms to save kings _ss from pain with blue mushrooms  But in my country we use purple ones with big heads for that purpose

Be very careful with that one, it will probably kill you unless you have reasonably good armour, there is a big difficultly jump from the previous one to that and you should really consider gaining several levels in the meantime. Also, if you have been reading the map summeries on the cf web site, the monster list is somewhat out of date. (I recall at least two monsters on that one that are not on the list given, but you'll figure out what they are when they kill you....)

Personally I feel the royalty quest after it is easier than that one. I doubt I am alone in thinking that.

For that quest, you have to go east for a really long time, and follow the coastline. It is possilbe to do that quest in 1 min. I did it before, for someone else, made a portal, popped in, popped out, and voila.
