Invisibility

Post by Zephyrus »

I cannot see myself with my new many colored cloak. However, most monsters have no problem doing so. Is there an extra step needed?

Many critters have "see invisible" ability. So, items and spells that make one invisible will not work with these critters. With which critters are you having problems? Perhaps I, or others, can come up with techniques to defeat them anyway.

I go into humanoids TC and my many colored cloak hides me from no one but myself. I can defeat them naturally, but was hoping for some way of avoiding any HP loss at all.

IIRC only the Cyclops and Wizards (maybe Titans) have "see invisible" in those maps. I have gone there as Galahad wearing God Finger and those are the only ones that "see" Galahad. The others (trolls, hill giants, gaelotrolls, etc.) do not see him at all.
