Targeting areas.

Also it would be nice to have some skills so that you can then target areas of the body.
Like: target head
and then when you attack you attack the persons head.
or target kneck where you would decapitate the player
or target arm and he'd loose an arm if you hit it enough and thus whatever he had in that arm would become unapplyed (or better yet fall to the ground along with his arm).

Well monsters already have body slots, so I guess it might be possible to use that to determine what is targetable. I guess that targeting a specific body part should try and hurt whatever is applied there (maybe double effect of item in that slot, others count 90%?)

Actually doing it is far harder, there is so much special case-ism (what does attack legs mean against a fireborn?)

Also you need to have some sense of damage to each part of a player, maybe killing each part would remove the slot until healed? But then what should heal it?

Perhapse balms should fix the part, or perhapse if it was severed only magic could heal it (or dying, re-emmerging). Targeting legs on a fire born would do nothing:

target right leg

/me attacks
you miss the fireborns right leg (as he dosn\'t have one).
