weird thing

i have some "talisman of Evocation" (note the capital E):
"That is talismans of Evocation (item_power +1)(Attuned: Summoning, Creation, Teleportation)"

today i started a new char, an evoker, and he started with an "Evoker's talisman":
"That is Evoker's talisman * (Attuned: Fire, Frost, Electricity)(Repelled: Summoning, Mind, Transmutation, Transferrence)"
(note the inconsistency)

This makes me think a talisman of Evocation is not for Evokers!

It does indeed seem odd. It should probably read talisman of Summoning?

This is probably a proper talisman for any direct damage with spells kind of character:
That is talismans of Elements (item_power +4)(Attuned: Fire, Frost, Electricity)

Talisman of Evocation is from the days before the new classes (v1.5) and probably before the race/class split (~v0.94).

I'm sure this is probably the first of many items that should be tweaked to reflect some of the current game features.

Anyway, I like Salathar's suggestion, make it a talisman of Summoning - if no such thing exist already

mmm, maybe we should create a list with things like this?

This may be deserving a post 'Items of the Ancient Times' where we would throw in something that does not sound right anymore. Renaming requests so to speak. Anyone feels like starting it up?
