Saves me a lot of greif. Losing a few days of leveling is not high on my list.
And yes, many people do have java, there are even source ports, like mine
although it may be cheating, you can also construe giving yourself items from another char you made, or being given money from someone else as cheating.
Honestly, lets not go into "this is cheating, but activity foo is not.
