Anonymous wrote:Just posting here also regarding the MS Sans Serif 8 font not being found, falling back to Sans 8. I get that error message in DOS window every pulse of the game, and every time I type in a character.

I'm running win98, I don't have this issue on winXP.
I'm not sure if 98 had this, but may be worth a try:
When running gcfclient from the DOS window add " > nul" (without the quotes) to the end of the command. This should redirect the output to Windows equivalent of /dev/null.

I assume you complained because of the CPU time console I/O is taking up?
Alternatively you could add the font it complains about to somewhere like \WINDOWS\Fonts... You say you have XP, if you copied the font file from one to the other I would not be surprised if it just worked.
