DirectX client needed

Does anyone know a location where I could download the old
DirectX client? After some extensive googling I was still unable
to find it anywhere. I'm still using Win ME so neither GTK nor openGL
client works for me.

Try using an arhived GTK release. Sometimes newest is not best..

I believe the directx client was actually taken off the server, not just had the link removed - so I don't think you can get it.

If you look long and hard enough, perhaps some backwater site hosts archived CF-clients.

From what I understand.. it works, but crashes frequently (every ~5mins) due to "resource issues."
