Mac Client

Hi there. I've been having a tough time trying to download and run the mac client.

Basically, I've installed the x11 that comes with OS X 10.3 "Panther", and run the 'cfclient' file in x11 - however, nothing happens. When I try to go through the x11 terminal, 'cd correct/dir' and 'open cfclient', it returns back to the dir after a small waiting time.

Help would be appreciated.

Hi. I have also a mac, and Panther, and the X11 that comes with it, and i had no problem with cfclient, and no more with gcfclient. I just type cfclient in a xterm.

I installed the client via Fink, maybe it is an older version ?

The server is also working very well, if you run it with the correct -arch, -data, etc..., flags.

Well, I didn't install via Fink, I downloaded the executable from http://meeg.elvenrealms.net/downloads.html . Perhaps that's where the problem is. Anyhow, the next question then would be, how do I get the binary from Fink? I downloaded FinkCommander a while back, but it didn't find crossfire, and I couldn't figure out how to download crossfire from that client.
