Quick Question

Post by Dra »

I have one small question that I couldn't find on the official site. Can you play this game on a modem with a decent speed?

Thanks to anybody who replies.

I've heard from a few people who have played via dialup modem.

They said it was playable; however a few maps (high level maps) and other instances (lots of heavy spell casting from multiple monstrs & players) really caused things to slow down.

I don't have any further details as to what these players were connecting at or what maps or exact situations caused the slow down for them.

Thanks for the reply Leaf but after playing it a bit I still have some questions.
1) I was trying to weird my sword I started with but I pressed drop instead and was sent back to the gods. Is there anyway I can get it back?
2) I got sick and leaving the really bad mess every few steps or so. How can I be healed from it?
3) You account can't be used on the different servers can they?
4) Any advice for a newbie? I've done all the training levels. Are there quests that I can do or should I just level up in a certain spot?

Thanks to anybody who replies.

1- You cannot get your sword back. Buit you'll find many more usefull weapons in the game
2- If you catch a disease, you can cure it, or wait for it to be cured naturally. (except for leprosy I think)
3- No
4- Go to the center of scorn (the city where you started) and 'a'pply the 'Beginner dungeons' sign.
First, you may want to clean the 'newbie tower' (east of the training areas, lots of stuff there) and then the 'mad mage tower'...

Good luck to you !

Thanks for the reply guys. I have just one last question to ask and you'll never hear from me again. I expect I'm really bugging you with all these newbie questions. Well anyway I went into Zealot's house and took some items from the castle's throne room and sold them for a nice price. I came back a day later hoping to find the items respawned like in most of the maps but I found out that they don't respawn. I really hope I didn't sell an important quest item. Is there anyway I can get them back and how can I tell in furture if an item is important for not?

All maps reset, except from "personal maps" like apartments and guilds.
