Okay i have downloaded Python from their website and i downloaded the one for windows the binary one thingy, and well after i download crossfire server 1.60 or something like it , i go to start bar and open crossfire server. But it keeps on saying "This application has failed to start because python21.dll was not found. Re-installing the application may fix this problem.
Can anyone help me? If you can that would be great because i really wanna play this game so BAD!

I take it you are trying to install or setup a Windows based server for local playing?
From I see in other related posts, the server will still run - you just won't have access to other python related functions such as the Post Office, etc.
Now, as far as getting it to work completely.. What OS and what version are you trying to install on?

Server plugin is compiled with python 2.1.1 final for Windows.
Once installed, look for python21.dll, and make sure it's in the PATH your windows use. Or copy that DLL to Crossfire's directory.
If you don't want python, grab one of the latest server versions and uncheck 'python plugin' at installation (snapshot i'm sure, don't remember if 1.6.1 has that option)
