Banishment and other odds...

bleh, nkay. my char, dondy, is a troll paladin of devourers AND got killed at lvl 85~ by a demon with banishment of mostrai. now not like this is embarrassing, this happens all the time and there's no way to dodge it! so i suggest rebalancing banishment again. also i'd suggest adding copy n' paste to the x11 cfclient's message window. i also suggest adding more protection equipment for holy word (or what ever damage type banishment is :P). i also suggest fixing gorokhs vitriol so it isn't totally useless if you fire it against a wall accidentially. rage is nerfed too, it doesn't help anyhow to not get any stat improvements :P and although i don't know how flaming aura works, i'm kind of disturbed about the fact that you can't get a commultative effect with it anymore :P red/black death are much too weak compared to banishment on lower levels which gives devourers a great disatvantage, and finger of death is just plain ridicioulus, possibly making it a bolt spell would help :P. ruggilli and ixalvoh people
can wear armours which i think is a bug, i suggest fixing that too. i suggest more up to date documentation in and out of the game, in the sources too. i also suggest more tiles for the storage room including the possibility to add more levels. i also think that gorokh could use a more usefull damage type (on weapons) than fear, like acid. i also suggest adding drawbacks for gaeans similar to devourers :P it's plain unbalanced compared to each other and you might know that as well, so i don't need to write that here. i also suggest giving sorig his hiding back and rasing the wc of the divine shock, since it's ridicioulus quick over and didn't do any damage (comparable to banishment). i also suggest letting the title be longer, it's too short for my likings at the moment :} possibly having melee users beeing able to carry more weapon improvements than it is now, since selfmade weapons get no where near to artifacts right now which i would actually love to see :} also i suggest adding the possibility to create
commands out of other commands for players (alias) since the bindings aren't enough always :P oh, and having pet monsters semi-randomly again just like cult monsters would be alot better since it's HARD to lvl summoning with pixies :P

Dondy would like to add that there should be a way to forget a skill. He said that over shout and told me to add it.

I believe on another thread this problem has been linked to problems with the Rod of Banishment rather than with the actual Banishment spell itself.

That can be done. Select text to copy, middle-click into the box you type commands in to paste, then triple-click it to select the whole text, and press Ctrl+X to cut it. A bit long-winded, I agree, but works.

If banishment rods get fixed there will be no need for that.

It is only a disadvantage at lower levels. At high levels deaths kill far better than banishment.

I agree here, game development is in places ahead of game documentation.

That would make a nice addition. In my opinion adding more storage rooms (storage room 2, storage room 3...) would be good for us, and tend to our natural stockpiling habits.

Agreed. Perhaps 64 characters? "[Damned Heretics] friendly ghost" would already max out a 32 character limit.

Yes. Perhaps a way of reducing a stat of a weapon, so a weapon modified (Str+2, Cha-1) would be seen as having 1 improvement.
