search-items and auto pickup

Are these supposed to play nicely together?

I have obseved items which should be auto-pickuped (gems and potions mostly) being left on the ground when I set search-items to look for something else.

Is this intended behaviour? If so should there not be a notice about auto-pickup being disabled.

Try 'search-items :' and it'll pick all items with ':' in the name.

Or 'search-items book' => all books.

As long as you don't do 'search-items' without anything, it's activated, and picks all items matching the string.
