I downloaded ver 1.7 of the client, and while I like it in general, there's a couple of 'funny' things:
1. When I start it up, the map is only half visible - I have to reposition it.
2. On one machine (Mandrake Linux 9.0) I can see things like a '*' for locked items and '(worn)' for armour that I wear, but on another machine (Redhat) I can't see these things. Is there an option that controls this?

Re: A few annoyments
I encounter this as well. But, I just reize the window as necessary because each character I have has a different number of skills to display at the top. I always thought this might be related.jan wrote: 1. When I start it up, the map is only half visible - I have to reposition it.

did you try resizing it to the right size once and then "save windows positions"?jan wrote:1. When I start it up, the map is only half visible - I have to reposition it.
it works for me

Re: A few annoyments
I have a similar problem, except it's rather from the same client machine, depending on the server I connect to, I get the '*' right or not. And the most annoying part is that they're not there when I connect to localhost...jan wrote: 2.
