Post by hebus1024 »

Hello

I just download the server and client , and start to play with ... and one thing make me a bit frustrated ......

On localhost ( I dont try web server for now ) I dont get money selling items ...
I have buy a 8 platinium coin item and when i try to sell it , it said , you would get nothing for it ...

What i need to do to sell stuff for at least 1 silver coin ????

can I configure server for modifying price ?? how I can do that ??

Thank ,

Did this only happen with one item? thats the message you usually get when selling a cursed item... not sure if there could be server options to change that, but i dont think the default is giving 0 for a sold ring :/
Anyway, try other items, if the items are cursed try uncursing them with your god (praying over his/her altar)

I have the same problem.. Playing on my local server (playtesting my map) no matter what I pick up (except for diamonds, emeralds, etc, but armour, weapons, rings, etc do) I get nothing for what I sell, but to buy it back it costs pp..

I tried buying/selling as DM and as regular player.. same thing.. This is on the windows server.. 1.6

That happens to all items I pickup . even when identified one .

I Think its a problems with the code of the program so I go to compile the server and see whats happens .

Server 1.6 on win 2000

The .dsw file should be in make_win32 subdirectory.
Note that if you intend to build from source, you'll be better with CVS ones. Instructions on how to get'em are at http://sourceforge.net/cvs/?group_id=13833 the module you want is 'crossfire'.

I just checked with latest CVS, price is all right.
Haven't checked with 1.6.0, though.
