-!- irmer [~irmer@x] has joined #crossfire
< irmer> is the metaserver down ? cant get a connection

-!- Icicle [~Icicle@x] has joined #crossfire
< Icicle> umm why are the servers not working? :(

-!- Hellif [~Not@x] has joined #crossfire
< Hellif> suck ... no servers for me

-!- dondy [~almu@x] has joined #crossfire
< dondy> uhhm, is cf.mf down again? :P

-!- Sean_ [~klagfoh@x] has joined #crossfire
< Sean_> uhu
< Sean_> metaserver is down?
Apparently we just found a way to:
a) count active crossfire players that are addicted enough to visit the irc channel
b) increase idlers on #crossfire

:)

As a side note/suggestion, I think it would be neat if the metaserver counted number of unique clients, requests per client, total requests, requests per time x etc.

I would agree! :D

Does anyone know what is involved in creating something like this?

Server side changes, etc.

Well, it would simply involve modifying the metaserver script, which is written in perl afaik. Should be pretty trivial.
