Crossfire Client GTK 1.6 Crashing (more of)

On the path between Scorn and Lake Country, there is a spot on the road to Lake Country where the client just dies and gives a standard "program terminated" error message. Very repeatable.. Anyone else seen this or knows how to correct it?

A few days ago i was going Scorn -> Navar, and client crashed a few times too. Didn't investigate yet, though.

same problem here - but only on the road - seems to have to do with the map ...

Same problem here - again only on the road - happens multiple times on road to Navar or Brest.
