Dual booting RH9 and XP, though i use RH9 to play cf. Thinking of switching distros though. hmm... maybe i'm out of the loop but i thought the current client supported SDL... Anyway i've been using GTK. Oh and Blender 3d is a great modeling prog if that's what you were talking about.
I've messed around a bit and it's the best i've seen IMHO.

Actually: Mandrake Linux desktops and servers, SCO UnixWare 7.1.0 Departmental Server 15 user (yeah, I know, but this was from old SCO not the jerks that call themselves The SCO Group) and eComstation (http://www.ecomstation.com).

An interesting side not is that SCO stands for Santa Cruz Operations. Santa Cruz is in CA, and Sco is in something like Ohio, or is it Idaho?
