monster invincible bug

I've noticed that I simply cannot attack monsters that are a rather high lvl.
examples are titans, fire/ice/electric dragons (I can kill hatchlings easy), and some weird and vague human like figure called ugli-hi or something that can be found at the top of pupland power plant (and it is rather ugly...).

I can not attack them directly, with swords or spells. I cannot even get them sick. But, I can attack indirectly, I can get attackable monsters around the invinvible one sick, which then get the invinci-monster sick.

Yesterday I was attacking a titan with holy word (i'm lvl 11 in prayer) and it didn't run away or give me "you deftly hit so-and-so" messages.

I am lvl 14 overall.

When trying phisical attacks try to improve (by decreasing) your wc. That will allow you to hit monsters with better ac. If your wc is not good enough you will simply miss all the time. But it could also happen you are hitting and no message at all is displayed (just sometimes, but i dont know why, it just happens). As for killing a titan with holy word (suposing you are Mostrai's) i couldnt tell what is the level where you can actually hit him (in praying) but I think 11 is probably not enough.

Also as you decribe there are undirect ways to attack some monsters, and thats what the game is about, learning new ways to do it trying to not die in the midtime
