A few question from a total CF newbie.
1) How can I stop the maps from reseting when I stop & restart the server. On a related note, what is the prefered way to bring the server down? SIGKILL, SIGINT or SIGHUP work but I get
SIGINT received.
Emergency saves disabled, no save attempted
Cleaning up...
Saving map /city/city
Player on map that is being saved
2) where could I get a nice (64x64) crossfire icon?

I'm not sure you can prevent map reset.
Nice way to bring server down is to go to DM mode & use the 'shutdown' command. Closes nicely the server.

a) draw one yourself
b) ask someone to do it for you

I thought the shield icon that appears in the browser tab on the home page would be a nice place to start. Any clue where I could get a larger version of that?
Thanks for the help -- this is a great game!

Thanks -- I should have been able to find that myself.

The favicon used for the crossfire website is Belzebub's shield, with a slight touchup and modification due to the favicon requirements.
A few months ago, Avion provided a couple of icons that he uses for the map editor and client.
