Level requirement to save?

I recently returned to metalforge, and made a new character. After reaching level 7, I tagged a bed to reality.. but upon logging back in, I was in the tutorial area again at level 1.

Has the experience requirement to save a character changed? What is it currently?

I feel that I should also mention that I looked for this info in the guides, and didn't see it anywhere. I thought you just had to level up once. Is that no longer true?

You are certain you made it to level 7?

100 XP is enough for a character to be saved.

What was the new character's name?

The character was Cryotosis. Perhaps you can check the logs and see?

I see Cryotosis login, but according to the server logs, never logs out or leaves the game.

In game logs shows Cryotosis leaving the game after about 2 hours of playing.

About 5 minutes after Cryotosis leaving (see above), another character named cryotosis (player names are case sensitive) logs in and then logs out after about 30 seconds. Server log and in game logs confirm this. Both the character names logged in from the same IP address.

Right, leveled the character for about 2 hours, then used bed to reality. Tried to log back in with the same character, but it went to character creation instead of back to apartment.

So, is this just a bug? I mean, I transferred plats and stat potions, spellbooks etc to that new character. I know it's not THAT big of a deal, but should I just accept it as a loss, and try making another one?

Cryotosis is level 7.

cryotosis does not exist on crossfire.metalforge.net server.
