Problem finding bmaps.client

Where exactly can I find this file? It says I can download it to improve performance, but I have no idea where it's at.

When you load up the client in the messages. On my windows machine I'll see this:
06:05 Unable to open ./bmaps.client. You may wish to download and install the image file to improve performance.
On my Linux box, I'll see this:
06:06 Unable to open /usr/local/share/crossfire-client/bmaps.client. You may wish to download and install the image file to improve performance.

I'm using Linux as well, and I am not seeing a reference to the bmaps.client when launching or running the client.

Did you install the client using apt-get or yum or something similar?
Or, did you compile it from source?

What Linux distro are you using?

I am using CentOS 6.5 final. I had to install a few packages through yum, then do a ./configure, then an ./install.

Does the bmaps.client file exist in this directory at all?

/usr/local/share/crossfire-client/bmaps.client

Do you have the Cache Images and/or Download Images option enabled in the client?

The file does not exist. And yes I do have Cache Images and Download Images enabled.

See it all the time, on another partition I have one bmaps.client file in /usr/local/share/crossfire-client , but not in HOME/.crossfire , though crossfire-images and crossfire-cache directories are there in HOME/.crossfire and well populated .
*[EDIT: Found them as crossfire-images/bmaps.client image-cache/bmaps.client ]*

The bmaps.client I have is 210 lines long , don"t know anymore how I managed it to get it there ..

From the ReadMe:

These image files for the client should be located in
$prefix/share/crossfire-client.  $prefix is the location given in the -prefix
option when configure is run to build the client.  The default is /usr/local.
In that case these files should be put in /usr/local/share/crossfire-client
The client will print a messgae if it is unable to find the image information
with the location is looked for them.
