Going to heaven

What is the best way to be successful in the random maps on top of the Church of Valriel in Scorn? I am a fireborn follower of Valriel, which means that I can more or less walk through demons of all sizes, but I don't seem to have anything in my arsenal against angels, except karate (lvl 25-ish), which so far only works up to light angels and angel knights.

But other people seem to have an easy time; how do they do it?

I for one play a Gorokh follower, so holy word works nicely

What server are you playing on? On some melee is kind of unbalanced, so it's quite possible there are monsters you can't really kill...

Well, you would have hoped a pious follower of Valriel would be able to get to heaven, wouldn't you?

Well, depends on your point of view, I guess

Valriel's church contains Valriel-related monsters, thus a follower of Valriel will have a hard time. On the other hand a follower of Gorokh will fight his god's enemies, so holy word is easy.

Of course we could imagine a map specific for Valriel followers, why not.
