It is possible that the GTK Windows client tries to store image cache into a subdirectory of its installation directory, in which case (since it is probably Program Files) there will be issues if it isn't using an admin account.
Workaround is to install to a folder into which the player has access, like a subfolder of "My documents".
I'm not sure whether JXClient (the Java client) has such behaviour.

After clicking Start Game it tries to run the patcher but nothing happens, if I try again it says it is already running, I have to shut it down in Task Manager.I'm not clear how Windows Life Family Safety is blocking the game, since this service has to do with website access, email and IM services, et al.
