I've been looking through the jeweler's recipes -- not only are they short on practical recipes for low-level jewelers, (low-difficulty recipes need lots of heavy-duty potions etc) but several of the amulet recipes seem to require a generic "amulet". Now, if it were a necklace of adornment, I could understand that.... but I've never seen a generic amulet, even in the Gem shop!
(P.S. By any hope, does the Animator's Ring count as a "strange ring"? Yeah yeah, I know -- different name....)
Jeweler skill needs nonexistent generic amulet?

OK, I can get them in Navar...
What about in Scorn? Does their Jeweler's Workshop also offer generic amulets?

Thanks....
I actually realized that now my character can afford to pay 200plat for a question, and checked... I note the generic rings and amulets both ID as "adornment", which is a bit of a relief.
