What is the location of the clients config file in linux?

I can't use the clients config page because it causes a segmentation fault

You mean for keybindings and such?

If so,
.crossfire/gdefaults

Also, for the gtk2 client, it's .crossfire/gdefaults2

Another note, that segfault has been fixed in SVN a while ago, and also can worked around by copying an old gdefaults file to gdefaults2.
